Bean pots have been around for a long time and were usually passed down through the family. They were deep, wide, short-necked pots with thick walls and a narrow mouth that were used to slow cook bean dishes. The pot's design minimized heat loss and evaporation, while its thick walls allowed for slow cooking times without burning. This great lamp is a reproduction of such pots but in a lighter resin.
