Fall Road Trip 2019

Reflecting on a road trip I took with my husband last month that took us through Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and then back home to Texas. I have always wanted to visit Charleston, SC and it was just as beautiful as I had imagined! Next was an unexpectedly delightful pitstop in Beaufort, SC, a place which I hope to visit again soon! Then on to Savannah, GA so I could finally see in person the city and Bonaventure Cemetery, both inspirations for so many books that I have read. And of course we had to experience the deliciousness of a low country boil while we were there! All in all, we travelled about 3200 miles but more important was the time spent together!
